Baroon Pocket Dam is a picturesque lake tucked away between Montville and Maleny. The dam offers a range of fantastic recreational facilities and you could easily spend the whole day exploring the shores and waterways.

Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve
The rainforest walks remain open, the viewing deck and elevated walkway are open during weekdays. The cafe is open for take-away, and now limited seating, everyday. Located at 148 Mountain View Road, Maleny.

The walk starts from the Maleny Showground and takes you on a relaxing stroll where you’ll discover postcard-perfect outlooks from numerous viewing platforms, enchanting “Peace in the Trees” sculptures, the inspirational Poetry Sculpture Trail and the Cloud Walk Pathway.
