Thank You Ann!

On 19 May, 2021, at our ‘Thank You Morning Tea’ to recognise MVIC volunteers in National Volunteer Week, the work of Ann Robertson was recognised with an Appreciation Award. Among the MANY roles undertaken by Ann over 14 years, she organises  our wonderful Famil visits. At the 2021 AGM Ann will step down from the Famil role but will continue volunteering for MVIC.

At the Maleny Pioneer Village

On 4 November, 2020 MVIC Vollies invaded the Maleny Pioneer Village on one of our regular famil visits. It was a delightful day, taking us back in time via the cottage, the lock up, the amazing doll collection to name just a few of the attractions. Our visit was published in the Glasshouse Country and Maleny News.

Celebrating 25 Years

25 Years Celebrated

On 28 June, 2019, The Maleny Visitor Information Centre celebrated 25 years of providing an information services for residents and visitors, while  promoting the Maleny Community. The occasion was recognised at an afternoon tea function. It was wonderful so join with past presidents and current and past volunteers. We were honoured by the presence of Andrew Powell MP and Cr Jenny McKay.
